WHICH INGREDIENTS CONTAINS NITROFLOW PERFORMANCE AND WHAT DO THEY PROMOTE?

HOW AND WHY HAS THIS PRODUCT BEEN DEVELOPED?

It started with the already well-established findings on increased NO formation and the positive effects on microcirculation and athletic performance. In addition, recent studies have shown positive effects on performances thanks to high-polyphenol-containing plant extracts such as New Zealand blackcurrant or Morency tart cherry, which are repeatedly confirmed and further investigated by established institutions such as the Australian Institute of Sport or the Swiss Sports Nutrition Society. Finally, various studies on athletes of other raw materials represent an appropriate combination for the promotion of performance and recovery. There is e.g. the Fruitflow tomato extract, which maintains a clear normal blood platelet aggregation and thus normal blood flow. Dehydration has among others the effect, that the blood becomes “thick” by increased aggregation, which limits oxygen and nutrient transport.

The result is a product that is, so far, unique in its innovative combination of active ingredients.

HOW WAS THE RESONANCE IN THE DEVELOPMENT PHASE?
The product has been developed with various top athletes. Ruedi Wild, triathlon pro, described his experience as follows:
“I have been using and testing the NITROFLOW PERFORMANCE prototype regularly since late summer 2016, respectively since the Ironman 70.3 World Championship in Australia and I am thrilled. Not only the performances were top, but I also did not have any problems with my delicate stomach, which is even more sensitive to further supplements in competition situation. I used NITROFLOW PERFORMANCE also on the two days following the race and could go back into the usual training faster than it is usually the case. So far it is my secret product, which unfortunately will now also be available for the competitors.

THIS PRODUCT WAS PRIMARY DEVELOPED FOR ENDURANCE ATHLETES. IS IT ALSO APPROPRIATE FOR STRENGTH ATHLETES?
At the beginning, due to the chronology of the development and the data situation, the focus was put on the endurance athletes. But soon it became clear that the described mechanisms of action and effects were interesting in many ways for strength as well as for interval athletes. This has been also increasingly investigated and confirmed with recent studies. We look at the studies on Montmorency Tart Cherry from Levers (2016), which could determine a reduced catabolism and a reduced power loss after strength training. Or at the effect of the ingredient WATTS’UP, which could show increased maximum force and increased total power capacity. This is very interesting in the field of weight and repetition situations for strength athletes. In general, so-called NO boosters have been known and widely used for a long time in power sport. For common strength training, an acute intake 2 hours before training/competition is generally recommended.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THIS PRODUCT AND THE ALREADY EXISTING PRODUCT RED BEET VINOTROX?
NITROFLOW PERFORMANCE2 was deliberately formulated without nitrate, which serves as a direct precursor for the metabolism in the mouth cavity to NO (NO3- to NO). As the needed quantity of an appropriate raw material, such as red beet in RED BEET VINITROX, is relatively high for an ergogenic effect, it can cause digestive problems to some athletes. On the other hand, thanks to the formulation of NITROFLOW PERFORMANCE2 in powder form, a bigger number and amount of functional ingredients can be used, which contribute to the NO synthesis by different mechanisms as well as also otherwise support the performance and the recovery. A combination of both products is thus also possible, since the ingredients as a whole vary purposefully and are coordinated with each other.
